Live Oak Bank in Wilmington, NC invites you to join our 10-week Summer 2027 Marketing Internship Program (May 17 – July 23, 2027) at our headquarters. We’re seeking an onsite intern who is curious, organized, and eager to learn how marketing works inside a fast-moving bank.

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll support campaigns, write on-brand copy, manage content calendars, analyze performance, and help with events. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams and present a final project to leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program with an expected graduation date between 2027 and 2029.
• Coursework or hands-on experience in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and correct grammar.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing campaigns from planning through launch.
• Write and edit clear, on-brand copy for email, social media, web pages, blog posts, and other sales enablement resources.
• Help manage the content calendar and keep projects moving across creative, digital, and product partners.
• Pull and organize campaign performance data, then summarize what worked and what you would change.
• Research competitors, industry trends, and customer questions to inform how we position our products.
• Assist with events and sponsorships—from prep and logistics to follow-up.
• Review materials against brand standards and marketing compliance requirements before they go live.
• Maintain a high standard of regulatory awareness including BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC.
• Present a final project to leadership at the end of the summer.
