Job summary

StaffBright in Belton, MO is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Leader to drive production performance, cost control, and quality across the plant. You will guide day-to-day operations, set strategic direction, and deliver reliable output in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead Lean initiatives, manage budgets, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring on-time delivery, safety, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including metal fabrication, painting and coating, and low-volume, high-mix assembly.
• Experience with ERP environments, including MRP, production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning.
• Proven Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement on the plant floor.
• Proven leadership coaching and development of high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations to meet production goals, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
• Develop, manage, and execute the operating budget and manufacturing strategy to support growth and customer expectations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to manufacturing leaders, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Oversee production planning, capacity management, and ERP-driven processes to optimize operations.
