Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking an experienced Onsite Maintenance Handyman Technician to handle a variety of maintenance and repair tasks at client facilities. Tools and materials are provided at the site, and you will contribute to safety and functionality both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include painting, drywall, lighting, plumbing, and general upkeep, plus building inspections and janitorial support.

Qualifications

• Proven handyman or building maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with light painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to handle diverse maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across facilities.
• Paint touch-ups and drywall repairs as needed.
• Repair/replace ceiling tiles, vents, and lighting components.
• Complete minor plumbing repairs and general upkeep.
• Conduct building inspections and address repair needs with minimal direction.
• Provide janitorial support and assist with furniture movement.
• Transport tools and materials to job sites; maintain safety and time management.

Job description

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking an experienced Onsite Maintenance Handyman Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks and conducting general handyman duties to ensure the facilities we manage remain in excellent condition. Tools and materials to be provided at the job site.

As an Onsite Handyman, your work will contribute to the safety and functionality of our client's environments, enhancing their satisfaction and overall experience with City Wide. You will work independently and as part of a team to tackle various assignments that require your expertise.

Requirements

Maintenance / Handyman Qualifications

• Proven experience in handyman, or building maintenance roles, with familiarity in light painting, basic plumbing, and basic electrical tasks
• Strong knowledge of basic building maintenance troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to perform a wide variety of general maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to:

• Basic painting and touch-up work.
• Basic repair and patch drywall
• Repair and replace ceiling tiles
• Repair and replace vents and vents covers
• Replace light bulbs and basic lighting components
• Complete minor plumbing repairs and adjustments
• Perform general building upkeep and repairs
• Perform building inspection and call out building repair needs without minimal direction.
• Janitorial Support Activities to assist the Janitorial Team as needed.
• Help with furniture and box moving
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Outgoing, professional, and dependable communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or vocational training is a plus
• Driver's License a Must.
