Job summary

EITACIES Inc. in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking an Intermediate Mainframe Developer to join a 12-month project on site. You will work within an Agile team to deliver mainframe solutions.

Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing COBOL/CICS applications, writing SQL for DB2, and supporting existing services. You should have 5+ years of experience and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or technical CS degree with 5+ years of development experience.
• Experience with COBOL/CICS, JCL, DB2, QMF, XPEDITER.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting legacy systems.
• Ability to work on a team implementing projects in Agile environments.
• Strong communication and adherence to standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, programming and testing for mainframe projects.
• Maintain legacy COBOL/CICS applications and interact with Information Systems.
• Assist with capturing requirements, design, and system architecture.
• Contribute to front-, middle-, and back-end development within an Agile team.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide production support as needed.
