Job summary

Alstom in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a full-time Onsite Servicing Supervisor to lead a 20-person team and oversee the maintenance of 55–60 locomotives. You will ensure compliance with federal inspection intervals and foster a safe, efficient workplace across maintenance, safety, and HR functions.

You will implement training, perform audits, manage schedules, monitor performance, and ensure timely, quality repairs while upholding Alstom’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in railway operations and locomotive maintenance.
• Knowledge of Trapeze EAM systems.
• Knowledge of Kronos timekeeping systems.
• Strong communication, safety and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 20 employees.
• Oversee maintenance of 55–60 locomotives.
• Ensure compliance with federal inspection standards.
• Develop training programs to improve performance and compliance.
• Conduct workplace audits and inspections.
• Plan work schedules and assign staff to repairs and inspections.
• Ensure materials are on site and ready for repairs.
• Monitor equipment performance and quality of repairs.
• Maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
• Utilize Trapeze or other EAM systems for work orders.
• Maintain accurate employee timekeeping in Kronos.
• Promote safety and engagement within the team.
• Support cross-team collaboration across maintenance, safety, and HR.
