Job summary

syncreon by DP World seeks an experienced Process Engineer in Fairburn, GA, onsite to analyze, design and improve operational processes across DP World’s logistics and supply chain activities. You will collaborate with operations, engineering and IT to implement data-driven improvements and support automation, capacity planning and standardization.

The ideal candidate brings Lean expertise, data analysis skills and project management experience to drive continuous improvement, cost reductions

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Research or related field with strong cost savings experience.
Experience designing solutions in a logistics/warehousing/manufacturing facility.
Experience supporting warehousing contracts with engineering expertise.
Experience in packaging and/or innovation.
Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Access (queries, forms, reports) and Visio; project management software knowledge required.

Responsibilities

Analyze current processes and design improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality and cost effectiveness.
Lead capacity planning, standardization and automation initiatives.
Develop and update headcount analysis tools to evaluate impact of changes on operations.
Prepare engineering studies to reflect changing processes in calculations.
Measure and drive reductions in standard time and waste.
Serve as main contact for capacity and process improvement tasks.
Collaborate with Operations, Facilities, IT and Project Management to implement solutions.
Manage engineering budget, equipment, standards and facilities for assigned projects.
