Daikin Applied in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a full-time HVAC Journeyman Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment onsite. You will service rooftops, chillers, boilers, and related systems, while leading apprentices and ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has Journeyman status, 5+ years of related experience, and a valid driver's license. Onsite work with training and advancement opportunities, competitive hourly rate, and union-supported

Formación

• 5+ years related experience with increasing responsibility; or 7+ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Accepted as Journeyman by the union.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Rotational Emergency Call Support.
• Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsabilidades

• Perform service of equipment including inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality.
• Repair and replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Maintain and inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Perform intermediate and advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Conduct warranty service by inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality of all commercial HVAC equipment.
• Educate customers on proper use of equipment, maintenance schedule, and operating manual usage.
• Lead and participate in rebuild and retrofit of commercial HVAC units, guiding apprentices.
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other reports promptly.
• Download programs into HVAC equipment and analyze chiller trend data for performance.
• Participate in trainings and onboarding modules.
• Maintain certifications and safety standards.

5+ years related experience

Journeyman by the union

Valid Driver's License
