Job summary

MileOne Autogroup in Towson, MD seeks an experienced IT Systems & Security Engineer to join our IT team full time onsite at the corporate office. You will provide technical depth across infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, virtualization, cloud services, and enterprise systems, working closely with existing staff to resolve complex issues and lead cross-functional projects.

The ideal candidate has hands-on enterprise IT experience, solid knowledge of cybersecurity and ISO 27001 concepts,

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments.
• Broad technical knowledge across IT domains including infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, virtualization, cloud services, and endpoints.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for cross-technology issues.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and enterprise security practices.
• ISO 27001 familiarity or experience is strongly preferred; certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and expertise across infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, virtualization, cloud services, and enterprise technologies.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives including system hardening, vulnerability remediation, access controls, incident response, and monitoring.
• Act as escalation resource for complex issues spanning multiple systems or areas.
• Assist with upgrades, migrations, deployments, and IT projects.
• Participate in ISO 27001 certification and ongoing information security program.
• Assist with business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and system resiliency.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, monitoring, automation, and efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and diagrams.
