Job summary

Epic Piping, part of United Weld Holdings, is seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to protect information systems and assets from threats in a fully onsite Baton Rouge environment. The role emphasizes security policy development, incident response, vulnerability management, and AI governance aligned with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of security experience, strong Windows security knowledge, and hands-on work with SIEM, MDR, and firewall platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in information security.
• Experience developing information security policies and procedures.
• Experience investigating security incidents and coordinating response.
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and pen testing.
• Strong knowledge of Windows security, patching, hardening.
• Experience with SIEM, MDR, and firewall platforms.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365/Azure security features.
• Familiarity with AI governance and data privacy in security.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and review information security policies and standards.
• Monitor security posture and investigate events to identify threats.
• Coordinate incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Support incident response and disaster recovery planning.
• Oversee vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts.
• Maintain Windows workstations/servers security and patching.
• Manage security technologies including endpoint protection, firewalls, and identity management.
• Review security logs and alerts to recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams for secure configurations.
