Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
- Advanced technical support and systems administration for departmental computing environments.
- Installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of servers, workstations, storage systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, design, installation and maintenance of a department s networked computers.
- Assume sole responsibility as the systems or network administrator .
- Manages the technical aspects of the system/network.
- Provides user support by troubleshooting PC and Network problems, and liaises with personnel operating the University Backbone Network.
