Job summary

JGMS Government Services LLC is seeking an Industrial Hygienist to join our on-site team in West Milton, NY. The role focuses on field surveillance, workforce interviews, IH sampling, and interpreting results including asbestos, silica, VOCs, welding fumes, and noise exposure.

Requirements include a B.S. in a related field, 5–10 years IH experience, strong communication, and the ability to operate in an industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial hygiene including sampling and calibration of industrial hygiene equipment.
• Strong interpersonal, teaming skills and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplined teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessments include field surveillances, workforce interviews, reviewing procedures and IH data.
• Sampling for hazards such as asbestos, silica, VOCs, welding fumes, and noise dosimetry.
• Assist with general industrial hygiene work for the site.
• Use professional judgment while assisting with IH exposure judgments.
