Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP seeks an experienced High Performance Compute Systems Site Lead for Los Alamos, NM. The role requires hands-on Linux HPC administration, technical leadership, and coordination across onsite and remote teams to ensure mission-critical performance.

Daily onsite work is required in Los Alamos; this is not remote or hybrid. US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance is required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and DOE Q clearance or ability to obtain.
• Must work onsite in Los Alamos, New Mexico; no remote/hybrid.
• 7+ years of technical experience in enterprises or HPC environments.
• 3+ years of hands-on Linux system administration (RHEL/SLES).
• 2+ years coordinating support cases and incidents in production.
• Demonstrated scripting with Bash or Python for diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership and guidance onsite.
• Coordinate work across onsite and remote engineering resources.
• Lead incident response, maintenance planning, and change control.
• Escalate issues with clear ownership and next steps.
• Mentor teammates and maintain site documentation and runs of show.
