Job summary

Erickson Senior Living in North Dallas, Texas, seeks a Housekeeping Utility Worker at Highland Springs. You will maintain community cleanliness, scrub and mop floors, clean surfaces, set up rooms for events, remove trash, and assist with moving heavy objects on campus.

The role requires a current driver’s license and ability to operate carpet and hard floor care equipment, with optional CDL Class B and a valid DOT certificate. Safety and efficient equipment operation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care and hard floor care equipment.
• Experience with trash removal equipment and housekeeping tools.
• May require CDL Class B and a valid DOT certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard floor surfaces with scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, buffing and waxing.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces including extraction, spotting, drying and vacuuming.
• Clean doors, walls, and windows as needed.
• Remove trash and manage recycling per procedures.
• Move and arrange furniture in common areas and residential spaces.
• Deliver residents’ items to storage, vehicles or apartments.
• Operate housekeeping equipment/vehicles safely.
