Boeing is seeking a Substation Electrician to support manufacturing areas around Berkeley and Hazelwood, MO. The role covers installation, maintenance and repair of substations, switching, transformers, protective relays and SCADA systems, requiring strong safety and high-voltage expertise.

This is an onsite position with potential collaboration with engineering teams and apprentices. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and completed a trade school or apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Trade School or apprenticeship program.
• Experience with solid state circuitry and computer-based test equipment required.

Responsabilités

• Install, test, calibrate and repair protective relays and power devices; maintain calibration records.
• Test and repair 4160V/12kV/34kV circuit breakers and perform periodic trip testing.
• Maintain transformers and ATS systems, including associated control equipment.
• Troubleshoot substation equipment and communication systems; work with SCADA components.
• Perform high-voltage switching operations.
