Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking a Machine Application Specialist 2 to deliver effective demonstration, safety, operation, maintenance, and application training to customers and internal personnel. The role supports the sale of HOLT products focused on Caterpillar construction equipment, working onsite at Irving, TX, with travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience operating heavy equipment in construction, quarry/aggregates or mining.
• Valid Caterpillar Dealer Instructor certification is required.
• Receive necessary training for Cat and Trimble technologies.
• General understanding of jobsite practices.
• High School diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and train customers and internal staff on CAT equipment operation and safety.
• Coordinate with sales to tailor demonstrations and maximize market impact.
• Ensure proper installation and testing of attachments prior to shipment or delivery.
• Travel to customer sites to demonstrate equipment functions and application training.
• Provide product and jobsite evaluations and recommendations to optimize efficiency and performance.
