Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispatches purchase orders by verifying specifications and price and obtains approval from requisitioning department.
• Utilizes data to drive decision making and analyzes purchasing trends.
• Evaluates products, goods, or services prior to purchase and ensures post-purchase standards.
• Ensures compliance with internal or external purchasing requirements.
• Maintains coordination with departments to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Negotiates pricing with vendors and identifies cost savings opportunities.
