Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Weekend Night Maintenance Technician for the PPW Maintenance team in Pueblo West, CO. This onsite role performs inspection, operation, and upkeep of facilities, equipment and systems to maintain a safe environment of care.

Responsibilities include accessing various facility areas, reading blueprints, performing HVAC, plumbing and electrical tasks, and reporting work performed. Requires a high school diploma and 3 years in related maintenance fields; on-site role with

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3 years experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains equipment, facilities and systems to ensure a safe environment of care. Records and reports work performed.
• Accesses roof areas, basements, equipment rooms, tunnels and crawl spaces; reads blueprints and manufacturer specifications.
• Performs general industrial maintenance including fabrication, installation and inspections of equipment and devices (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Performs periodic building inspections and recommends needed repairs or installations.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
