Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental seeks an Environmental Technician for our Midwest team. The on-site role supports clients in managing hazardous waste programs, serving industries like higher education, life sciences, and healthcare. The position reports to the Operations Coordinator and is based in Kansas City, MO.

You will handle hazardous materials, learn software supporting operations, and contribute to a strong safety culture while providing professional client service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of hazardous waste field or interest.

Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance and punctuality.
• Develop knowledge of computer software supporting operations.
• Assist Program Manager as requested.
• Handle chemicals and hazardous waste in containers.
• Use a material shredder.
• Willingness to wear a respirator for 2–6 hours daily.
• Provide clients with high-quality customer service.
• Demonstrate good communication and positive energy.
• participate in on-call Emergency Response rotations (optional).
