The position focuses on sustainable landscaping, snow removal, and outdoor maintenance across multiple locations, with typical 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours and potential winter shift adjustments. Essential duties include grounds care, irrigation system oversight, chemical applications with safety compliance, and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed by state Department of Agriculture as a certified applicator or handler of insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides, or willingness to obtain within first year.
• 1-3 years experience in the landscaping or irrigation industry preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds and landscape maintenance such as mowing, pruning, and mulching.
• Operate light to medium equipment including tractors, skid steers, and mowers.
• Maintain irrigation systems and apply chemicals following safety guidelines.
• Keep daily logs of watering and chemical applications.
• Assist with snow removal during winter and adjust shifts as needed.
