Quantum Technologies LLC in Atlanta, GA seeks a senior Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer/Architect to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and analytics in the cloud. The role focuses on hands-on GCP data services, ETL/ELT development, data modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data engineering, strong SQL/Python skills, and experience with Datastage/Informatica/SSIS. Onsite, 24-month+

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
Minimum 8 years of data engineering experience, preferably in cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, Dataflow, PubSub, IAM, Logging & Monitoring.

Responsibilities

Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to extract data from multiple sources and load into BigQuery or target systems.
Build and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes for analytics and reporting.
Design and optimize scalable, secure data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform using Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Python, and Linux scripting.
Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure data security, IAM controls, encryption, and governance across environments.
