Job summary

Old World Industries is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Houston, TX. You will load/unload, move, and stack goods using forklifts and other equipment, adhering to safety procedures and quality standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of warehouse experience, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team. SAP and Excel familiarity is a plus; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel helpful.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves.
• Move materials to storage areas and loading docks.
• Stack and organize products in WM designated areas.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report issues.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including inventory counts, packaging, and leakers.
• Maintain records of materials moved and inventory levels.
• Inspect containers for damage and export compliance.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks and coordinate with leadership.
