Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Augusta, GA site. This full-time, first-shift role involves operating a forklift for internal movements, loading/unloading trailers, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will use SAP for material movements and ensure safe, efficient operations on the manufacturing floor.

Required are a High School diploma or GED, 2+ years of forklift experience, and PIT forklift certification. Basic MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience operating forklifts or similar machinery.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Must pass PIT forklift certification and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift for internal material movements and finished goods as needed.
• Load trailers for outbound shipments and unload materials to designated locations.
• Count raw materials and process returns; adjust in SAP as needed.
• Dispatch trailers to prevent line downtime and ensure timely shipments.
• Identify scrap or RTV and coordinate with quality to resolve issues.
• Meet with internal customers to determine current and future material needs.
