Job summary

Ventura Foods in Albert Lea, MN is seeking a dedicated forklift operator to unload trailers, place goods into inventory, and maintain accurate warehouse records. This hourly position requires standing, lifting and operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift on a first shift.

Starting pay is $25.65 per hour with potential for raises and shift differential on later shifts. You will follow FIFO, locator systems, and all Food Safety, GMP, FSMA policies while supporting production lines and inventory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; good reading, writing and math skills.
• Must be forklift certified by Ventura Foods.
• Ability to physically perform tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate sitdown and/or standup forklift efficiently.
• Unload trailers and locate items in the appropriate area.
• Accurately complete all paperwork related to shipment handling.
• Support production lines by supplying packaging.
• Ensure FIFO is followed.
• Follow locator system policies.
• Adhere to Food Safety, GMP, FSMA and related safety programs.
