Job summary

Utilities One seeks a Field Project Manager to lead on-site operations, coordinate field teams, vendors, and stakeholders, and ensure projects are executed safely and per plan. The role focuses on bridging field activities with management while maintaining schedules, safety, and quality across telecom, power, water, and data center projects.

You will oversee reviews, permits, and daily reporting, ensuring adherence to approved plans and performance targets at multiple sites within the Portland

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Strong knowledge of aerial and underground design and construction requirements as they relate to the customer and any governmental guidelines.
• Ability to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in extreme weather.
• Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for fiber construction.
• Ability to travel to different job sites within the assigned market.

Responsibilities

• Bridge field teams, vendors, management, and stakeholders to execute projects safely and efficiently.
• Review projects for scope, constructability, and sequencing.
• Coordinate pre-construction walkouts with vendors and internal teams.
• Verify locate ticket status and ensure valid locates are in place prior to excavation.
• Coordinate permits, traffic control, and jurisdictional approvals before work begins.
• Lead daily field coordination with foremen and vendors.
• Ensure crews have required certifications and are properly equipped.
• Monitor production and ensure accurate project reporting.
• Represent the company as on-site operational leader.
