Job summary

Insight Public Sector is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support day-to-day operations at our Chandler, AZ headquarters. The role focuses on central plant monitoring, building systems inspections, and responding to teammate service requests onsite five days a week.

You will learn and work with our specialized facilities controls, collaborate with the facilities team, and help maintain critical infrastructure while ensuring compliance and documentation throughout the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school training or associate degree preferred.
• Hands-on mechanical, engineering, HVAC, or other trade experience.
• Ability to analyze operating conditions and troubleshoot with hand/power tools.
• Strong documentation, organization, and follow-through for permits and records.
• Experience with building automation or control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily central plant walks and maintain safe, reliable facility operations.
• Monitor building automation and control systems; respond to alarms and issues.
• Maintain chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, elevators, lighting/shade controls.
• Serve as first point of contact for facility issues and provide responsive support.
• Manage ServiceNow requests, facility tickets, room setups, events, and other service needs.
• Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems.
