Job summary

Encore Global is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee on-site planning and execution for Special Events, Exhibits, and Trade Shows. You will manage installation and dismantle, stay within budget, and lead the on-site Hargrove team from start to finish.

You will coordinate pre-show planning, equipment, and labor, attend production meetings, and ensure smooth logistics and safety. The role requires travel (<50%), evenings/weekends, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Budget monitoring and management.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills under pressure.
• Microsoft Office 365 experience preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Able to pass a high-level background check.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Owns small to medium shows and manages core deliverables with SOM guidance.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor pre-show activities and budgets.
• Coordinate equipment, transport, installation, and dismantle at show sites.
• Ensure on-site safety, labor scheduling, and union coordination.
• Attend client meetings and drive post-show evaluations.
