Job summary

Ergonomic Consultants of Indiana (ECI) seeks an Industrial Ergonomics & Injury Prevention Specialist to support employees onsite in Ohio. This full-time role focuses on coaching, training, and early intervention to prevent injuries, with direct impact on workplace health and performance.

You will lead ergonomic assessments, educate staff on body mechanics, and collaborate with EHS teams. A degree in a related field and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Athletic Training, Occupational Health, PT/OT or related field is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with employees at all levels.
• Self‑starter who is comfortable working independently onsite.
• Passion for injury prevention and proactive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite injury first aid and early symptom intervention.
• Coach employees on body mechanics, posture, and movement.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and job evaluations.
• Support safety teams with injury prevention strategies.
• Lead group trainings and presentations for employees and leadership.
• Identify risk factors for MSDs and implement prevention measures.
• Document visits and maintain reports in web-based systems.
