Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a on-site Hazardous Waste Technician to assist with collection, packaging, labeling and spill response at client facilities. Responsibilities include forklift operation, drum inspections, waste sampling and safe loading/unloading of waste vehicles.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance and teamwork to support our environmental services offerings across North America. Training will be provided where needed.

Formación

• Must be able to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
