Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Charlotte (onsite) is seeking a student engineer for a Winter 2027 co-op. You will assist in analyzing new technologies, supporting design and testing, and contributing to product development within a collaborative team.

The role requires enrollment as a full-time engineering student and commuting to the site. CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Pro-E/Solid Edge) and MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered as a full-time student at a local accredited college/university.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Co-op starts January 2027 for 3–4 months; multiple terms preferred.
• Must be able to commute to Charlotte site.
• CAD experience with SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Pro-E/Solid Edge preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to communicate with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new technologies and market components using basic tools.
• Assist in cost reduction programs and design test machines.
• Support product development and routine analysis projects.
• Prepare documentation and ensure design parameters meet standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on NPD and product testing.
