Moog Inc in Johnson City, TN is seeking an Embedded Software Design Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software for military and aerospace applications. You will work under the Design Engineering Manager and contribute to BSP, bootloader, kernel configurations, and automation scripts.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in CS/CE/EE or related field, has 3+ years in embedded software in manufacturing, and is proficient in C/C++, Bash and Python with HDL/RTL FPGA experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or related field
• 3+ years embedded software engineering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficient in C/C++, bash, and python scripting

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate embedded software and firmware for military and aerospace markets.
• Develop and maintain embedded Linux BSP, bootloader, kernel, and system configurations.
• Maintain shell scripts and C/C++ code for automation and applications development.
• Collaborate with team to resolve software and system issues.
• Prepare software releases and documentation per procedures.
