Job summary

Curriculum Associates is seeking a Professional Learning Specialist to lead ELA/Reading professional development and provide ongoing in-classroom support in Chicago, IL. The role involves data analysis, coordinating with district leaders, and delivering targeted PD to teachers and coaches.

You will collaborate with sales and school staff to drive district-wide adoptions of CA products. The ideal candidate has teaching/coaching experience, a background in ELA/Reading, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in teaching ELA/Reading or coaching ELA/Reading.
• Master's degree in ELA/Reading preferred.
• Experience delivering professional development to teachers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted professional development and ongoing in-classroom support.
• Analyze data and communicate insights to district and site leaders.
• Manage daily project activities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Deliver on-site support for teachers, coaches, and leaders.
• Develop annual professional learning plans with district and site leaders.
• Travel within designated territory and to company meetings as needed.
• Stay current with educational conferences and internal development.
