Job summary

OptumCare in Mississippi seeks a per diem behavioral health professional for 8 hours weekly, split into Tuesday 7:00am-11:00am and Thursday 3:00pm-.

The role requires a Masters or Doctoral degree in behavioral health, a current independent license, and at least 3 years of behavioral health experience. Onsite work is required as needed and compensation is hourly with a comprehensive benefits package.

Job description

This is a per diem role for a total of 8 hours per week (hours are guaranteed). Requires working two 4-hour shifts per week: Tuesday 7:00am-11:00am, and Thursday, 3:00pm-

• Masters / Doctoral degree in a recognized behavioral health discipline
• Current, unrestricted license at the independent practice level
• 3+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting
• Ability to work onsite as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• CEAP
• EAP experience
• Experience in settings such as managed care, private or public clinics, with emphasis on mental health, chemical dependency, and work place issues
• Training in EAP, workplace and organizational dynamics
• Proficiency with all MS Office applications
• Proven solid written and verbal communication skills
• Proven solid interpersonal skills required and the ability to work effectively among different levels of management and personnel
• Proven solid organizational skills with the ability to manage stressful situations and multiple competing priorities
