Strive Pharmacy in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to support prescription processing and ensure data accuracy across workflows. This onsite role emphasizes quality control, regulatory compliance, and timely patient care.

The position requires an active AZ license, data-entry experience, and strong attention to detail. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–5:30pm or 9:30am–6pm, with Saturdays as needed; compensation is $22–$23 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona State Pharmacy Technician license (non-trainee) and current CPhT certification via PTCB or NHA required.
• 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy data entry position (retail, community, or mail-order setting).
• Proficient computer ability and data entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy rate.
• Demonstrated background in customer service with a high standard of professionalism.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays as operationally required.

Responsibilities

• Process new and refill prescriptions accurately, with thorough review and KPI goals.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or unclear information and demographics.
• Verify patient, prescriber, and medication data for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate workflows with pharmacists, technicians, and support staff for efficiency.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient data according to regulations.
• Apply high precision in all processing tasks.
• Support progression through Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced performance tiers.
