BHE GT&S in Ithaca, NY seeks a Controls Technician I or II to support instrumentation, PLCs, and control systems in gas processing operations. The level will depend on your qualifications and experience.

The role emphasizes installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation, wiring, and related devices, with on-the-job training and required certifications pursued after hire.

Competenze

• Two-year degree or equivalent hands-on experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Direct hands-on experience with instrumentation, PLCs, and control systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow SOPs.

Mansioni

• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots instrumentation control circuits and equipment for natural gas processes.
• Mounts, wires, tests, configures, and programs instruments and devices.
• Calibrates instruments and documents calibration data and system data.
• Troubleshoots using laptops, meter tools, and device software; supports control systems.
• Directs installation of wiring, tubing, and piping to instruments and controls.
