Job summary

Amazon seeks a Controls Integration Engineer to lead on-site deployment and commissioning of automated material handling equipment. You will own IPC/PLC bring-up, network configuration, and field-device validation, collaborating with contractors, integrators, and internal teams.

The role requires hands-on execution, problem solving, and adherence to project standards, safety, and quality requirements across multiple sites in the US. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with industrial networks and field devices.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for on-site commissioning and deployment support.
• Experience with Ethernet/IP, Profinet, EtherCAT, or Modbus TCP.
• Familiarity with Linux-based IPCs and PLCs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site commissioning for sorters, conveyors, and automated work cells.
• Configure and validate IPCs, PLCs, HMIs, networks, and field devices per standards.
• Lead on-site tech activities and coordinate with integrators and vendors.
• Troubleshoot networking, PLC logic, and system faults across boundaries.
• Document issues and support continuous improvement and handover.
