Job summary

US staffing Inc is seeking a Controls Engineer in Seattle, WA, to develop and commission industrial control systems for various industries. Candidates should have over 3 years of Controls Engineering experience, including PLC programming and HMI development.

The position requires strong motion control programming skills and offers 25–40% travel to local customers. An AS or BS in Engineering is preferred, with equivalent experience considered. Ideal candidates will have experience with Rockwell Allen Bradley systems and other relevant tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming experience.
• Knowledge of additional PLC platforms such as Omron, Mitsubishi, GE.
• Ability to program/write code/ladder logic from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commission industrial control systems.
• Write, install, debug, and commission PLC/HMI code.
• Travel to customer sites for installation and system startup.

Skills

Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming experience

Rockwell Allen Bradley PLC programming

Strong motion control programming

Programming language experience in Python, C#/.NET, Java

Experience with SCADA Ignition
