Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a motivated Site Project Manager in Gainesville, VA to oversee daily on-site construction activities for commercial, industrial, or electrical projects. The role requires 2–10 years of experience, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, tracking schedules, and ensuring safety and scope adherence.

The position is a 1.5–3 year contract with PTO, holiday pay, and benefits, with local travel to the jobsite and an easy interview process.

Qualifications

  • 2–10 years of site project management or field supervision experience.
  • Background in commercial, industrial, or electrical construction preferred.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and electrical plans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily on-site construction activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, electricians, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Track schedules, milestones, and overall site progress.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Monitor material deliveries, labor, and equipment staging.
  • Communicate project updates, delays, and risk items.
  • Support budgeting, change orders, and cost tracking.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and quality inspections.
  • Resolve field issues with contractors and engineering teams.
