Job summary

Energy Systems Group, LLC is seeking an Appliance Repair Technician to join our Operations Services team in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The role is onsite and involves diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing commercial kitchen appliances to ensure safe and efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of appliance repair or related technical experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years appliance repair, maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or related technical experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose appliance malfunctions accurately.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and electronic systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and service documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in appliances.
• Repair and maintain refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, microwaves, and other commercial kitchen appliances.
• Install new appliances and verify proper operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Document service calls, repairs completed, parts used, and recommendations.
• Communicate repair findings and costs to customers in a professional manner.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
• Ensure company vehicle and equipment are maintained in safe operating condition.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Work with subcontractors to ensure timely closeout of work orders.
