Job summary

EVCO Plastics is seeking a Layout Technician to support quality and manufacturing by programming and running CMM inspections to verify molded components meet print specs and customer expectations.

You will program Zeiss CMMs with Calypso, interpret blueprints and GD&T, analyze results, and maintain audit-ready records. On-site, full-time role in Oshkosh, WI with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Calypso programming experience and Zeiss CMM knowledge.
• Strong blueprint reading, tolerancing and GD&T skills.
• Proficiency in Excel with detail-oriented reporting.
• Plus familiarity with PC-DMIS, Hexagon/Brown & Sharpe, PolyWorks, and related inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate Zeiss CMMs using Calypso for layouts and first article inspections.
• Interpret blueprints, tolerances and GD&T to build accurate inspection plans.
• Analyze measurement results, document findings and communicate issues for resolution.
• Assist with capability studies and maintain organized inspection records.
