Job summary

Axon is seeking an experienced CMM Metrology Programmer to perform dimensional and vision inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications. You will program and operate multiple CMMs (Zeiss Contura, Zeiss OIS-322, Keyence LM) and manage metrology data systems.

The role requires 5+ years in optical and tactile metrology, strong problem solving, and proficiency with Calypso.

Qualifications

2–4 year degree in Technology/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years Quality/Manufacturing experience.
Advanced programming with Calypso: PCM, freeform, curve, simulation and planner modules.
5+ years optical and tactile metrology experience.
5+ years measuring and programming Zeiss Contura, Zeiss OIS-322, Calypso Software and Keyence LM series.

Responsibilities

Operate the Axon optical/tactile CMMs to provide measurement analysis for parts.
Program and operate Calypso CMMs for accurate inspections.
Use PiWeb and QC DB for dimensional analysis and reports.
Generate CMM programs to improve repeat inspections and efficiency.
Support CAPA investigations with dimensional data and root-cause input.
Read CAD models/prints and maintain equipment calibration.
