Job summary

Village Handcrafted Cabinetry is seeking an experienced Field Finisher to join our team. This position involves finishing and touch-up work on custom cabinetry at customer job sites, with a focus on high-end craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on cabinetry finishing experience, work well independently, and communicate effectively with customers while upholding our quality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience spraying, staining, painting, and/or glazing cabinetry.
• Experience using and maintaining paint spraying equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect workmanship for quality.
• Ability to travel to local job sites, with possible overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Spray, stain, paint, and glaze cabinetry using a variety of finishing techniques.
• Prepare cabinetry for finishing, including sanding, taping, and masking.
• Perform finishing and touch‑up work at customer sites.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency.
• Properly use and maintain paint spraying equipment.
• Identify and resolve finishing issues while meeting project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Represent Village Handcrafted Cabinetry professionally when working at customer locations.
• Assist with additional finishing duties as needed.
