Job summary

Kokosing is seeking an onsite Construction Engineering professional to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects in Maryland. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and have 2+ years of construction engineering experience; bridge experience is a strong plus.

Proficiency with Primavera P6 and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects.
• Manage project engineering personnel, assignments, and administration.
• Ensure compliance with requirements and support construction schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support for design interpretation and construction methods.
• Develop and administer project engineering procedures (submittals, RFIs, expediting, pay requests).
• Interface with on-site departments to resolve issues and support schedule.
• Oversee pre-construction, design-build, and business development for the project.
• Perform additional assignments as directed.
