Job summary

RTX is seeking an Automation Engineer in the United States to join the manufacturing automation team onsite. You will learn alongside experienced engineers, support development of digital solutions, and help maintain and troubleshoot automation systems across production lines.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning in a manufacturing environment, documenting changes, and participating in system commissioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
Experience with electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic systems and reading drawings/schematics.
Hands-on manufacturing environment experience and ability to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

Learn and support development of manufacturing automation and digital solutions.
Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot existing automation systems under guidance.
Troubleshoot production automation equipment and connected factory systems.
Participate in full lifecycle of automation projects to gain hands-on experience.
Document automation systems, test changes, and support system commissioning.
