Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen, OH is seeking an Automation System Controls Engineer to design and develop Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. You will work on electromechanical and software control development, documentation, and system evaluation, with onsite responsibilities in the US.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and 0–2 years of AGV or electro-mechanical experience. Travel up to 5% may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/computer/industrial controls related field.
• 0–2 years experience in electro-mechanical/AGV systems; salary to be commensurate.
• Good written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Travel 0–5% with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise in design and development of AGV systems.
• Develop system concepts into functional prototypes and generate software.
• Document design processes and communicate results for critical review.
• Work fully onsite at New Bremen, OH.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Industrial Controls
