Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting electrical design/drafting projects (Electrical Utility/T&D, transmission lines or power distribution).
• Proficient with AutoCAD and related drafting tools.
• Background as Electrical Designer/Drafter/Detailer or similar role titles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, site evaluations, analyses, and preparation of proposal and construction documentation.
• Design electrical schematics, grid layouts, power systems, lighting, and controls.
• Follow company standards and set up CAD configurations at project start.
• Prepare engineering drawings from rough sketches using CAD software.
• Conduct drawing production and calculations on non-routine tasks.
• Organize revisions of drawings and project information, and support project teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and designers to resolve design issues.
