Job summary

One World Global Services is seeking a US-based ASL interpreter for both VRI and onsite work. The role involves providing sign language interpretation across diverse settings to empower deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of interpreting experience (preferred) and an interpreter certification. A degree is preferred, along with strong communication skills and adaptability to technology-driven environments.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience interpreting (preferred).
• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Interpreter certification required.
• Understanding of deaf culture and current pedagogy trends.
• Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, scheduling and internet.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English effectively.
• Maintain compliance with licensure and NAD-RID Code of Conduct.
