Qualifications

• ASL proficiency verification required (NationalASL RID certification and/or EIPA 3.7+ or BEI).
• State license or registration if required in your state.
• 1 year of interpreting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive in-person and virtual interpretation by phone and video.
• Follows interpreter protocols and Propio L.S. policies.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and related standards.
• Establishes quality service with patients, customers, and healthcare providers.
• Keeps vocabulary and subject-matter knowledge up to date for medical, legal, social services clients.
