Job summary

Industrial Design in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Designer to lead the development of your discipline’s construction documents. You will direct a Drafter, ensuring the scope, calculations, specifications, and views align to create a complete design package.

As you progress, you will own the content, coordinate with discipline leads, participate in design reviews, and support construction administration by revising packages in response to RFI and submittals. This is an in-office, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Develop construction documents with calculations and specifications.
• Coordinate with Drafter and discipline lead to produce a complete package.
• Ensure designs meet required codes and client specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the discipline's construction documents.
• Direct the Drafter to create necessary views and drawings.
• Verify that the design meets all code and client specifications.
• Coordinate with other designers to develop the overall scope.
• Assist in responding to RFIs and submittals during construction.
