Job summary

Josh Pros LLC seeks a full-stack backend API Developer for an onsite contract in Atlanta, GA. You will design, build, and support RESTful services across a mixed Python and .NET estate on AWS, collaborating with product, frontend, and platform teams.

Responsibilities include crafting secure APIs, integrating internal and external services, deploying on AWS, and maintaining high code quality through tests and reviews. Remote work is not offered; W-2 contract employment only.

Qualifications

• MUST have Python development experience and strong REST API skills.
• MUST have .NET (C#) experience and ASP.NET Core / .NET Core knowledge.
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, SQS/SNS, RDS/DynamoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure REST APIs and microservices in Python and C#/.NET.
• Build integrations between internal services and third-party platforms.
• Deploy and operate services on AWS with Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, SQS/SNS, and RDS/DynamoDB.
• Write unit and integration tests; ensure code quality through reviews.
• Implement auth (OAuth2, JWT), rate limiting, and API versioning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance and observability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile ceremonies.
