Job summary

SAAB is seeking a Manufacturing Tooling Technician to audit and maintain assembly tooling and to support tooling studies and basic design. You will test and analyze tool performance and resolve tooling issues on the shop floor, working closely with engineers and assemblers to ensure tools are available, safe, and compliant with aerospace standards.

You will contribute to manufacturing reliability and continuous improvement in a hands-on, on-site environment, ensuring high-quality tooling support

Qualifications

• Auditing and maintaining assembly tooling on the shop floor.
• Supporting tooling studies and basic design tasks.
• Testing and analyzing tool performance to drive improvements.
